Seven categories. 100 points. Findability 15; Reputation 20; Website Trust 15; Path to Buy 15; Offer Clarity 10; Reason to Choose 10; Competitive Position 15.
Five defined levels. Strong 100%; Solid 75%; Mixed 50%; Thin 25%; Not Visible 0%. Each category’s weight is multiplied by its scoring level, then the seven scores are added.
Four score bands. 85–100 Strong public position; 70–84 Solid, with clear upside; 55–69 Mixed signals; under 55 Under-represented.
Public evidence only. Findings identify their public evidence. Missing information is marked Not Visible; gaps are not filled with assumptions.
Where the public view ends. The Scorecard does not claim to know profitability, staff performance, internal systems, service quality or financial condition. Those questions need the owner’s knowledge and internal numbers. The sample is illustrative. A Scorecard is a starting point, not a verdict on the business.
