Basics first
Wholesale access is paperwork, not price
Most trade vendors do not publish a price list. What they publish is who can buy and what you must show: a business license, a resale certificate, a professional license or proof that you own a shop. Get that paperwork in order once and most of the accounts below open the same week.
Three things to have ready: your business license or IRS letter, your sales tax or resale paperwork if you resell goods, and a professional license if you work in beauty. Each entry says which applies.

How this page is made
Where the facts come from
Every fact on this page was read from the vendor’s own page on October 27, 2026. Where a page did not say, we say not stated or not found instead of guessing. We also tried to read the pages of AutoZone commercial accounts, Sysco, Discount School Supply, CosmoProf, Ewing Outdoor Supply, Tundra, Fastenal, but could not read their terms on that date, so they are not listed. We take no payment from any vendor on this page, we do not rank them, and we recheck each quarter.
Missing a vendor you use, or see something out of date? Email info@groundworkbusinessadvisory.com and we will check it against the vendor’s page.
Anticipated Questions
Do I need a business license to open a trade account?
It depends on the vendor. Restaurant Depot asks for a business license or IRS letter. SalonCentric and Sally Beauty ask for a professional license, a student ID or proof of salon ownership. CHEF’STORE and the Gordon Food Service stores are open to the public. Read each entry for what the vendor says.
What is a resale certificate and when do I need one?
A resale certificate lets a business buy goods it will resell without paying sales tax on the purchase. The vendors that mention it above say you can ask for sales tax exemption by showing the right paperwork. Ask each vendor what it accepts, and check with the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration for the rules that apply to you.
Why are some entries missing prices?
We list only what a vendor publishes. Many wholesalers quote by phone or through a representative, so the page says not stated rather than guess.
Is this list a recommendation?
No. It is what each vendor publishes, read on the date shown. We take no payment from any vendor on this page, and we do not rank them.
